Yummy Chicken Dry Rub seasoning for what?
Chicken of course but also very tasty on pork chops, oven baked fries or as a marinade, just add citrus juice and oil. It even makes a really nice salad dressing similar to a ranch dressing, which opens up another door of marinades and sauces. Also available in gift baskets and gift sets, click here.
How to use Dry Rub
Rinse and dry the chicken or chicken parts. Drizzle vegetable oil, olive oil or melted butter into chicken. Sprinkle liberal amounts of Knox's gourmet Yummy Chicken dry rub seasoning
over chicken and massage. Rubbing infuses the flavors directly
into the surface and helps release the flavor in the BBQ seasoning.
For easy clean up, place meat in a zip lock bag. Sprinkle
with liberal amounts of Knox's Yummy Chicken dry rub BBQ seasoning and
rub from outside the bag.
Apply several hours or just prior to cooking and refrigerated
until ready to cook, bbq, grill, bake or fry.
Yummy Baked Chicken
To make gourmet yummy chicken is really easy and baking a whole
chicken is much easier than people think. You can prepare
the chicken in minutes and let it back undisturbed and have
a beautiful bird in a hour or so. Here is what you need.
• 1 chicken, whole, 2.5 to 5 lbs.
• Knox's Yummy Chicken
dry rub
• Butter or Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Let chicken sit until it gets to be room temperature. Wash
the bird and dry. Rub with olive oil or butter. Season the
inside and outside of the chicken by rubbing with our Yummy
Chicken dry rub.
Place a whole chicken in a roasting pan.
In your preheated oven cook the chicken for 1 to 1 1/2 hours
or until the internal temperature reaches 180 for thighs
(taking the reading in the thickest part). If you do not
have a meat thermometer you can test for doneness by cutting
into the deepest part of the thigh. If the meat is no longer
pink and juices run clear, it's done. This should be done
later in the process so the juices do not run out of your
chicken while it still has a lot of time to cook.
You will want the chicken to rest for about 10 minutes before
carving to let the juices and heat redistribute.
That's it. Your Done. Yummy Chicken.
