How to use
Knox Bro's. Carib-b-q
a small amount of olive oil or melted butter on meat. This helps bond with and distribute essential oils in the seasoning and will aid in browning more evenly. Sprinkle meat with Knox Bro's Carib-b-q Caribbean style meat seasoning. Massage evenly into surface with your hands. Rubbing releases the essential oils and infuses
the flavors. If you like to keep your hands out of
it, place everything into a zip lock bag and massage in the bag. This also allows for very easy clean up.
Seasonings can be applied several hours before grilling and
refrigerated until ready to use or applied directly before barbecuing, grilling or baking. The longer a seasoning marinates the more intense the flavor, the choice is yours.
If you would prefer to marinade your chicken, pork or beef, our Carib-b-q seasoning is perfect for making a marinade. Mix with your favorite
citrus makes an exotic marinade.
Carib-b-q Marinade Recipe
- 1/4 cup lime, orange or lemon juice, or a blend of all 3.
- 2 teaspoons Carib-b-q seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil
Mix together and marinate chicken, beef or pork at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.
Carib-b-q Carrots Recipe
- 7 or 8 large carrots
- 1 Tablespoon Knox Bro's. Carib-b-q Caribbean Style seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
Slice carrots into bite size discs and boil is salted water until tender. Drain and put in a bowl.
Melt the butter and add the remaining ingredients. Pour over carrots and toss to coat.
Serve warm. Enjoy!
