Knox's Chipotle BBQ Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Barbecue pork tenderloin is a rewarding way to present a wonderful pork tenderloin or two.

2 whole pork tenderloins approximately 1 pound each
Knox's Chipotle BBQ dry rub
Olive Oil

Rub tenderloin with oil and then with Knox's Chipotle BBQ dry rub.

Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Let stand for 8 minutes or so and cut pork across the grain in thin slices to serve. Letting your tenderloin stand allows the temperature and liquids to evenly distribute and creating a wonderfully perfect pork tenderloin with the smoky, tangy flavor of Knox's Chipotle BBQ dry rub spice blend.

Red Wine and Honey Baked Tenderloin

2 Whole pork tenderloins approximately 1 pound each
1/4 Cup soy sauce
3 Tablespoons dry red wine
1 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons honey
1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 Clove crushed garlic
1 green onion minced

Combine soy sauce, wine, sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, crushed garlic and minced onion in bowl to make marinade. Pour marinade over tenderloin and turn to cover. Or place tenderloin in large zip lock bag and pour in the marinade. The tenderloin can sit at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerated until ready to cook.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Drain but save marinade.

On an oven rack, place tenderloin in oven and bake for 45 minutes basting with marinade until the last 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and let stand for 5 - 10 minutes before cutting. Letting your tenderloin stand allows the temperature and liquids to evenly distribute and creating a wonderfully perfect pork tenderloin.

Enjoy!
